DJ House Foundation
Music Style: Funky House, Deep/Tech/Soulful, US House and Garage

DJ House Foundation started DJ'ing in 1989, just 6 months later he secured a weekly residency in the infamous Colchester 'Hippodrome' nightclub at the mere age of 19. Whilst continuing to define his unique style in many of the bars and clubs in and around the Colchester area, Paul was studying for a degree in music at 'Trinity College of music' in London, with church organ, piano and composition as his primary studies. Much of his knowledge and passion for classical music is illustrated in his house sets, where juicy harmonies are as prevalent as uplifting and catchy melodies.

In 1995 he began working for BBC local radio and a year later moved to London to work as a studio sound engineer for BBC World Service. This entailed recording bands, mixing sound for the likes of Mark Goodier and Tommy Vance, and making a variety of live and recorded programmes both for speech and music-based broadcast.

Meanwhile he was returning to Colchester to continue DJ'ing commitments in 'Henleys Bar' as well as securing a new weekly residency in Chiswick at 'Nachos'. After moving permanently to London, and at the same time into BBC Television, the demand for his DJ style was increasing, offers of regular gigs were in abundance and he reluctantly gave up the Colchester scene in favour of taking another weekly residency at 'Rumours' in Hammersmith, also playing the 'Hammersmith Palais', 'Limelight', numerous other venues around London, the home counties and countless BBC parties. On the international stage Paul has DJ'ed extensively in Cyprus and perhaps most notably of all Ibiza, the world-renowned capital of dance music.

Until a year ago DJ House Foundation was playing at the 'Hogshead' in Marlow, however, following the enormously successful launch and phenomenal demand of his Saturday night residency at 'Baroque' in West Ealing, London, Paul is now resident DJ there Friday and Saturday (and bank holiday Sunday) nights 10-2am. The popularity of podcasting the sets recorded live at 'Baroque' each weekend has taken DJ House Foundation and the online outfit to a new level. Transcending the limits of playing to capacity crowds, it has allowed Paul to build a truly global and loyal fan base on a vast scale, with up to 3000 house music lovers downloading the mixes 24/7. This achievement has gained DJ House Foundation international recognition and the prestigious position of reaching the top 10 iTunes music chart.

Paul has defined his individual style of playing marathon all night sets remaining deep in the mix from start to finish with an eclectic mix of uplifting house music.
